Participants will explore innovative approaches for integrating market principles with effective climate policies. Organized by the European Enterprise Alliance, Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers, and Warsaw Enterprise Institute the discussion will highlight the challenges faced by EU countries in developing energy infrastructure, production, and distribution. It identifies significant barriers to private capital investment, including legal uncertainties, bureaucratic hurdles, state intervention in markets, uncertainty about regulatory regimes, financial constraints, limited access to necessary infrastructure like the energy grid and land, and complex taxation systems.
