Informal meeting of culture ministers

During the meeting, the Polish presidency will present, among other things, the results of an analysis commissioned by the Polish Ministry of Culture on the situation of young artists on the labour market in EU countries. Launch of the EAPN 2024 Poverty Watch Report

The European Anti-Poverty Network (EAPN), in collaboration with the EESC Civil Society Organisations’ Group, will present its new Poverty Watch Report titled “Towards a systemic approach to social protection”. The report comes amid ongoing high levels of poverty in Europe and limited progress towards achieving the EU’s 2030 poverty reduction goals. EAPN emphasizes the urgent need for more comprehensive and structural measures, while also providing an overview of current poverty trends in their different forms.

This joint event will kick-off with the launch of the EIB Municipalities Report 2025 with new evidence on the investment needs from over 1,000 municipalities across the EU.
