Focus on Europe Conference
Event Details
On 11 June 2025, our founding member, the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP), held the Focus on Europe Conference in Warsaw — a high-level platform for evaluating the achievements of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and identifying priorities for the EU’s next institutional cycle.
The conference served as a venue for in-depth discussion on the major strategic challenges facing the EU, including the design of the 2028–2034 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), the bloc’s global competitiveness, and the dual green and digital transitions. Particular focus was placed on Europe’s evolving energy landscape and the need for regulatory reform to enhance long-term resilience.
Participants addressed how to reduce fragmentation within the Single Market, accelerate infrastructure investment, and strike a policy balance that promotes both sustainability and industrial strength. The event highlighted the importance of structured governance, stakeholder engagement, and future-oriented policymaking to ensure the EU remains responsive to changing geopolitical and economic realities.
