Agenda

The Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP), in cooperation with PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna, organized a seminar at the European Economic and Social Committee titled “Wyzwania i szanse polityki klimatyczno-energetycznej UE.” The event, hosted and moderated by MEP Adam Jarubas (ITRE Committee), examined the European Commission’s 2040 emission reduction proposal and its broader consequences for energy, industry, and society.

The discussion featured contributions from Marcin Nowacki (President, ZPP), Marcin Laskowski (Vice President for Regulation, PGE and Vice President, PTEC), and Robert Jeszke (Head of KOBiZE/CAKE), focused on the challenges of adapting climate and energy policies to the realities of industrial competitiveness and security, while also ensuring fairness and sustainability. Speakers stressed the need for a balanced approach—one that supports the green transition but also provides clear regulatory frameworks and predictable investment signals to companies, particularly in energy-intensive sectors.
